PNG Air is one of the largest domestic airline operators in Papua New Guinea with extensive operations in the domestic network. PNG Air is now hiring for Ramp Officer based in Port Moresby. PNG Air’s Operations Division is recruiting for Ramp Officer based here in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. This position reports to Airport Manager. Key Responsibilities include the following: • Preparing equipment for arriving and departing aircraft • Assist with marshalling of passengers • Work with the Customer Service Supervisor to ensure on time departures • Assist the Customer Service team with passengers with Special Needs • Pushing stairs and assisting with aircraft doors • Being responsible for maintaining a safe working environment • Ensure GSE is in safe working order performing routine checks • Using GSE in safe and responsible manner • Preparing baggage for delivery to the aircraft • Loading and unloading of aircraft as per instructions given by the Airport Manager • Safe driving of vehicles on the apron and around aircraft • Operating the disable customer lift • Delivery of baggage to passengers, handling special items with due care • Recognizing and handling of dangerous goods. Qualifications, Skills and Competencies • Educated to Grade 12; • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience preferably in airlines industry or similar environment • PNG Drivers license • Work place health and safety understanding Applications close: 4:06 pm Thursday 9th April 2026 No hard copy applications will be entertained.
