Bismark Maritime Limited is urgently looking for qualified young individual to fill in below position.
Position: Receptionist
Location: Lae Branch - HQ
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greeting Visitors: Welcome clients and guests, ensuring a positive first impression and directing them to the appropriate personnel or departments.
- Answering Phone Calls: Manage a multi-line phone system, answer inquiries, and transfer calls to the relevant staff members.
- Administrative Support: Perform various clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office supplies.
- Mail Management: Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages, and manage outgoing correspondence.
- Assist to do banking when Accounts staffs are busy.
- Collecting stationery and office orders.
- Maintaining Reception Area: Ensure the front desk and waiting area is tidy and organized, reflecting the company’s professionalism.
- Handling Deliveries: Sign for deliveries and manage visitor logs, including issuing visitor badges.
- Coordinating Meetings: Assist in scheduling and preparing for meetings, including managing conference room bookings.
- Assist in writing receipts for weekend shipments for fresh food and vegetables.
- Assisting new employees to get familiarized with the company.
Qualifications
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required, preferred candidates with a degree in administration or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is advantageous.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic office equipment is also important.
