Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven Regional Sales Manager (Momase) to be based in Lae. Reporting to the National Sales & Category Manager, this role is responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market share, and strengthening customer relationships across the Momase Region.
The Regional Sales Manager (Momase) will lead regional sales operations by developing and executing territory strategies, managing distributor and retail partnerships, and ensuring strong field execution. The role plays a key part in delivering revenue growth, improving distribution, and strengthening Globe’s presence across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve regional sales targets and deliver sustainable revenue growth.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies across multiple channels.
- Identify new market opportunities and strengthen brand presence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key trade partners.
- Negotiate trading terms, promotional activities, and credit arrangements.
- Lead, coach, and develop the regional sales team, setting KPIs and monitoring performance.
- Conduct regular market visits to ensure product availability, visibility, and merchandising standards.
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing, promotions, and provide accurate sales forecasts and reports.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business (preferred).
- 3–5 years’ proven experience in sales management, ideally within FMCG.
- Strong selling, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
- Strong understanding of market segmentation, distribution networks, and retail environments.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the Momase Region and beyond if required.
- Industry exposure in FMCG, automotive products (lubricants, tyres, spares), or electronics will be an advantage.
