Summer Institute of Linguistics Papua New Guinea (SILPNG) has an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled, motivated professional or a recent graduate for a 1- year Temporary Registered Nurse position. This role is a unique opportunity for a dedicated professional with a servant heart to support the vital work of Bible Translation within the Aiyura Valley.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The purpose of this position is to provide high-quality clinical care to SIL-PNG staff and local patients. This role is vital in supporting the health of our community and furthering the work of Bible Translation in PNG. This position reports primarily to the UHC Officer in Charge and secondarily to the Clinic Manager.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 completion ( Higher School Certificate)
• Diploma in General Nursing from an accredited nursing school
• Current Certification as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing Board of PNG
• Must hold a valid PNG Medical Board License (Authority to Practice)
