About the Client

Our client is a leading corporate bank in PNG, managing a diverse portfolio across multiple industries. They are committed to providing innovative financial solutions, building long-term client relationships, and developing local talent within their corporate banking division.

The Role

The bank is seeking a confident PNG national to join as a Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking. This role focuses on managing corporate client relationships, structuring credit deals, and driving business growth. The successful candidate will have strong transactional skills, particularly in writing and structuring corporate credit facilities, and the ability to operate independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate clients across multiple industries, delivering tailored banking solutions.
• Structure, write, and manage corporate credit deals and financing arrangements (PGK 10M–800M).
• Assess risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide insights on transactional products (trade finance, FX).
• Mentor and develop junior staff, supporting professional development and upskilling.
• Drive business growth through proactive client engagement and strategic relationship management.

Key Requirements

• PNG national with 5+ years’ experience in an RM corporate or commercial banking role.
• Strong transactional and credit experience, including structuring and documenting corporate credit deals.
• Generalist banking experience across multiple industries.
• Independent, proactive, and confident in managing complex client relationships.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
