Background

Family Health International 360 (FHI 360), under the Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) PNG Project, invites qualified suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and authorized representatives to submit proposals for the supply and delivery of medical oxygen-related equipment, accessories, consumables, and biomedical engineering maintenance tools to selected Provincial Health Authorities (PHAs) and Port Moresby General Hospital in Papua New Guinea. The procurement forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen medical oxygen systems and support the development of a costed national oxygen roadmap in collaboration with the National Department of Health.

The procurement is divided into three lots covering:

  • patient monitoring, nebulisation, resuscitation and oxygen therapy equipment and consumables;
  • medical oxygen cylinder delivery system components and accessories; and
  • biomedical engineering maintenance and testing toolkits.

Successful suppliers will be responsible for delivery to designated sites and, where applicable, installation, commissioning, end-user training, warranty support, and after-sales service.

All equipment must be suitable for use in PNG healthcare settings, comply with applicable international standards and regulatory requirements, and be supported by appropriate manufacturer documentation. Preference will be given to suppliers demonstrating strong technical compliance, competitive pricing, reliable delivery schedules, and effective after-sales support arrangements.
