Summary

The Restaurant Driver is responsible for the timely and safe delivery of food, beverages, supplies, and other restaurant-related items. The role ensures customer satisfaction through professional service while maintaining food quality and adhering to traffic and safety regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver food orders to customers accurately and on time.

  • Pick up supplies, ingredients, and other items from vendors when required.

  • Verify delivery orders and ensure items are complete before dispatch.

  • Handle food and beverages carefully to maintain quality and presentation.

  • Maintain delivery records and submit daily reports.

  • Follow assigned delivery routes efficiently.

  • Ensure compliance with traffic laws and company policies.

  • Keep the delivery vehicle clean, safe, and in good working condition.

  • Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or delays promptly.

  • Assist with basic restaurant operations during non-delivery periods as assigned.

Job Requirements

    • Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type.

    • Clean driving record.

    • Good knowledge of local roads and routes.

    • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

    • Strong time management and organizational skills.

    • Physical fitness for loading and unloading tasks (if applicable).
