TotalEnergies Marketing PNG is seeking a high-performing Retail Executive (South) to drive business growth, operational excellence, and network performance across the Southern region.
This role requires a strong commitment to TotalEnergies competencies, particularly Results Orientation, Customer Focus, Accountability, and HSE Excellence, while managing dealer relationships and delivering sustainable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Results Delivery
- Deliver against sales targets (fuel, lubricants, and non-fuel revenue) with a strong focus on profitability
- Monitor KPIs and take proactive actions to improve underperforming sites
- Demonstrate a results-driven mindset by consistently identifying growth opportunities
Customer & Dealer Focus
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with dealers and service station partners
- Ensure high levels of customer service and consistent brand experience across all sites
- Act as a business partner to dealers by providing coaching, guidance, and support
Operational Excellence & Compliance
- Ensure strict compliance with TotalEnergies HSSE standards and local regulations
- Conduct regular audits and enforce corrective actions where necessary
- Uphold brand standards, operational procedures, and ethical business practices
Ownership & Performance Management
- Take ownership of network performance, including financial results and operational efficiency
- Provide clear reporting, analysis, and recommendations to management
- Manage risks proactively and ensure compliance with company policies
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement innovative initiatives to improve retail performance
- Support new business development, station upgrades, and network expansion
- Contribute to marketing campaigns and modernization of service offerings
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline
- 3–5 years of experience in retail, sales, or commercial operations
- Experience in FMCG, oil & gas, or distribution sectors is an advantage
