REVENUE OFFICER

We are pleased to announce an open vacancy exists in our Finance Department for a qualified and experienced Revenue Officer.

Based in Port Moresby, this position will operationally report to the Revenue Accounting Manager according to the specific description outlined below.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role is responsible for providing assistance and support to the Team Leader Collator on the airline’s revenue accounts.

• Prepare and input import files from reservations system into the revenue accounting system
• Prepare regular &periodical reports as required
• Reconcile unearned revenue including identifying all expired tickets regularly
• Provide financial assistance to the Commercial department in relation to Code-share agreement
• Liaise with, and extract input data from external organizations providing ticket sales services (IATA)
• Comply with all appropriate corporate and financial Acts, legislation, and airline requirements

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCES

• Relevant tertiary qualification preferable a degree or diploma in Accounting, Business, Commerce or Economics
• Must have a relevant qualification
• Previous similar working experience (not essential)
