About the Role:

We are seeking a Risk Analytics Specialist to join our clients team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing risk information and delivering analytical insights that support both internal and external banking initiatives.

You will play a key part in identifying trends from customer and account data, collaborating with retail teams to ensure these trends inform business decisions and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Management & Analysis: Work with the Enterprise Data Warehouse and Cloud environment to manage data and deliver analysis that meets stakeholder needs.
• Solution Design & Implementation: Develop and implement solutions for analytics projects to achieve business objectives such as revenue growth, fraud detection, and enhanced customer engagement.
• Collaboration: Partner with teams across the business to gather insights and support the successful implementation of analytics initiatives.
• Data Extraction & Manipulation: Use data tools to extract, clean, and prepare raw data for analysis.
• Analysis & Reporting: Apply analytics frameworks to provide actionable insights and support business decision-making.
• Communication: Deliver timely, clear, and actionable analysis to stakeholders, turning data into business value.

Qualifications & Technical Skills:

• Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Experience with Big Data platforms (AWS, GCP, Hadoop) and BI tools (Qlik, Tableau, SQL, Oracle).
• Knowledge of languages such as Python, R, SAS, SQL, and JavaScript for data analytics and visualisation.
• Proven track record in applying advanced analytics in diverse contexts.
• Solid understanding of CRM solutions, event triggers, and campaign management.
• At least 1 year of experience in CRM or analytics roles influencing business decisions.
• Strong business acumen with effective communication skills.
