Summer Institute of Linguistics Papua New Guinea (SIL-PNG) is advertising the Safety & Quality Administrative Assistant role and looking for someone who wants a challenge and change of scenery to live in Ukarumpa, Kainantu and become part of a dynamic team supporting the work of Bible Translation. The person we are seeking must be highly skilled and motivated professional who will assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of the Safety & Quality Management System.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of Grade 12 education with a Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration or related field
• Prior experience as a pilot, mechanic or internal auditor preferred.
• Experience in cross-cultural environments, preferably in an NGO or faith-based organization.
• 1 year management experience with 3 years’ experience in aviation desirable.
• Prepare for audits by reading appropriate CAR and Exposition manuals
• Processing monthly and quarterly indicators
• Assist with the internal safety and quality training, as needed
• Incorporate revisions into the ISJAO
