Safety Traffic Controller – Supervisor

Trukai Industries Limited is seeking an enthusiastic and self- driven Safety Traffic Controller Supervisor. This role is based in Lae and will report to the SH&E Safety Traffic Control Coordinator.

The role will be responsible for ensuring daily Safety Traffic Control operation plans are implemented and maintained to meet the safety, security, and well-being of Trukai employees and the company as a whole. The role will oversee and ensure Safety Traffic Controllers coordinate the movement of all vehicles, forklifts, other powered mobile plants and pedestrians in compliance with each site's traffic management plan along with other site-specific safety requirements.

Key Requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate or certificate in Safety Traffic Management
• 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Basic Occupational Health & Safety Skills and Knowledge
• Experience in implementing and managing Site Traffic Management Plans
• Strong leadership skills and ability to lead a team
• Ability to foster strong relationship with all stakeholders
• Good communication, interpersonal, planning and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Computer literate in MS Office application.
