We are looking for an experienced and qualified individual to fill in the vacant role of Sales Advisor, the role is based in the Wewak Dealership within the Parts Department and reports to the Parts Manager.

Job Summary:
The key focus of this role is to provide "first point of contact" customer Sales advice, solutions and support to drive customer service engagement, performance and collaboration towards the achievement of solid employee relations and business objectives.


Main duties / responsibilities include:

• From customer requests, accurately determine what is required and provide clear and concise service and advice.
• Provide descriptions of items and confidently discuss product specifications upon request.
• Prepare and provide quotations upon request.
• Identify parts in storage and allocate per customer requests.
• Constantly communicate with customers to discuss prices, discounts available (if any), delivery timeframes, modifications, etc.
• Liaise closely with the Warehouse colleagues to be progressively aware of stock availability.
• Assist with periodic stock takes as directed by management.
• Ensure full compliance with safety, quality and industry regulatory requirements for all products, services and work activities.
• Establish, maintain strong business relationships with all customers
• Complete other projects and duties as assigned by the Parts Manager.

Experience / Attributes:

• At least 2 years’ work experience within an automotive parts environment.
• In-depth knowledge of parts, accessories and automotive products available for sale.
• Excellent customer focus and the capacity to deal effectively with customers through various mediums.
• Be highly adaptable to changing circumstances and results oriented.
• Proven negotiation and communication skills.
• Have a high level of computer skills.
• Knowledge in the use of Reynold & Reynolds’ ERA POWER, EPC & ERANET is an advantage.
• Must be honest and presentable at all times.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail skills.
• Be able to live and work in Wewak.
