As we continue to scale our operations, we are looking for a high-energy, sophisticated Sales Executive to lead our growth in Port Moresby. ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Sales Executive at VirtualFlex, you will be the face of our IT infrastructure and Digital Transformation portfolio—ranging from End User Computing, Data Center solutions and Enterprise Software Solutions. Your goal is simple: Identify, Engage, and Close.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Market Expansion: Proactively identify and engage new corporate and government clients within Port Moresby and the wider PNG market.
- Solution Selling: Conduct high-level consultations to understand client pain points and present vFlex’s infrastructure solutions (Servers, Storage, Virtualization, and HCI).
- Sales Pipeline Management: Drive the end-to-end sales cycle from initial cold calling and lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
- Client Relationship Management: Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives and IT Managers, ensuring high retention and upsell opportunities.
- Reporting & Strategy: Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline and provide weekly forecasts to the reporting Manager regarding sales targets and market trends.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our Systems Engineering and Project Management team to ensure technical proposals align with client requirements.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in IT or a related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years of proven success in B2B sales, ideally within the IT, Telecommunications, or Technology sectors.
- Network: An existing network of corporate contacts in Port Moresby is highly desirable.
- Communication: Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills—you must be comfortable pitching to a boardroom.
- Drive: A self-starter attitude with a "hunter" mentality and a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Tech Literacy: A foundational understanding of IT infrastructure (Servers, Cloud, Networking) to effectively communicate value to clients.
- Driving : Valid drivers license will be an added advantage.
