Monier Limited, the single largest producer, supplier and distributer of construction materials and building products in PNG is seeking to recruit suitably qualified and highly motivated individual for the following position:
Sales Manager
The Manager is responsible for Leading a sales team in providing guidance, training and mentorship, setting sales quotas and goals, creating sales plans, analyzing data, assigning sales territories and building their team.
Duties include;
• Manage sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue and expense controls.
• Ensure planned sales goals are met on time.
• Set individual sales targets with the sales team.
• Track sales goals and report results as necessary.
• Oversee the activities and performance of the sales team.
• Ensure ongoing training & developing of your sale team through motivation, coaching, mentoring and
product knowledge.
• Ensure promotion of the products.
• Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products.
• Implementation of processes to ensure secure and smooth transactions between customer and Monier.
• Create systems and processes that become automatic and minimize errors in transactions.
• Processing orders by telephone, email or phone. This includes checking that correct pricing, discounts and
product numbers have been entered correctly into the computer system.
• Updating and maintaining of the customer list including details of each customer. (addresses, phone
numbers, discount structure, key people and type of customer)
• Monitor and maintain discipline within the sales team. (Punctuality and presentation of each staff member
is recorded and monitored) issue warning notices to staff that disobey Monier rules.
• Investigating customer complaints of service and product quality.

Qualifications & Experience Required:
• 4 years’ experience in a similar role
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
• Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
• Experience in customer relationship management.
• Structured approach to processes and procedure enforcement.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Extensive experience in office functions ideally with computer skills in APEX, Command Alkon and Attache
software systems.
