Job Summary:
The Sales Manager will oversee sales and distribution activities, based in Port Moresby, the incumbent will develop strategies to expand market share, lead a high-performing sales team, and ensure seamless product distribution. This role requires a skilled leader with deep knowledge of sales and distribution operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Distribution Management:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets across assigned regions.
- Ensure effective distribution of products to all territories.
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales representatives.
- Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations to drive success.
Market Development:
- Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with key clients and
stakeholders. - Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
Operational Oversight:
- Oversee inventory levels and coordinate with logistics teams to maintain timely product
availability. - Monitor and report on sales performance, preparing regular updates for senior management.
Customer Relation Manager:
- Maintain high customer satisfaction through effective communication and issue resolution.
- Develop long-term partnerships with distributors and retailers.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and distribution, preferably in the telecommunication or electronics industry or a similar role.
- Bachelor degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of managing regional sales teams and achieving targets.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
