Position: Sales Merchandiser
Locations: Wewak, East Sepik Province

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze sales figures, market trends, and customer behavior to determine product needs.
• Stock sales floor shelves and create attractive product displays that draw customer attention.
• Implement product promotions, price changes, and markdowns as necessary to drive sales.
• Ensure retail staff are well-informed on product details and current promotions to enhance customer service.
• Maintain and track inventory effectively to ensure product availability.
• Liaise between customers and the company to foster strong relationships and address any concerns.
• Forecast sales and profits accurately to inform business strategies.
• Manage budgets efficiently to maximize profitability.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Certificate in Sales & Marketing.
• At least 2 years of work experience in a Sales & Merchandising role is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent customer service skills that ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, to effectively convey information.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
