Operating in Papua New Guinea for over 30 years, Nestle PNG Limited is seeking a qualified and experienced Sales Representatives to join our Southern Region Sales Team, based in Port Moresby.

Reporting directly to the Sales and NAC Manager – Southern, the position holder is responsible for building relationships with Tucker Box owners and customers, driving sales and ensuring optimal product placement.

Key responsibilities:

  • Actively promote a wide range of Nestlé products, highlighting their benefits and features to drive sales.
  • Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships to foster loyalty and ensure consistent product placement.
  • Ensure that Nestlé products are prominently displayed, utilizing effective merchandising techniques to attract customer attention and encourage purchases.
  • Monitor stock levels assisting owners with inventory management and ensuring timely replenishment of popular items.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels. Provide regular reports to management on sales performance and market trends.
  • Conduct regular visits to gather insights on customer preferences, competitor activities, and market trends. Use this information to identify new sales opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Provide training and support on product knowledge, promotional activities, and effective sales techniques to enhance selling ability.
  • Implement and support promotional campaigns and initiatives designed to increase product visibility and sales .
  • Gather feedback and relaying this information to management for continuous improvement.
  • Participate in community events and activities to promote Nestlé’s brand presence and strengthen relationships within the local community.

Qualification, skills, and experience:

  • Degree or Diploma in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in FMCG industry
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and meeting deadlines
  • Experience in building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Familiarity with sales techniques and strategies
  • Experience in using sales tools and technology
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
