Summary

The Sales Support Officer will provide assistance to the sales team and ensure that sales processes and procedures are executed efficiently and effectively. The role involves coordinating with different departments to ensure timely processing of sales offers, analyzing data to identify sales trends and opportunities, preparing sales reports, assisting in the development of sales strategies and plans, and providing administrative support to the sales team.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with different departments to ensure timely processing of sales offers
  • Analyze data to identify sales trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Prepare sales reports and provide feedback to the sales team on the effectiveness of sales strategies and processes
  • Assist in the development of sales strategies and plans to meet company goals
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, such as scheduling meetings, preparing sales presentations, and managing correspondence
  • Assist in the organization and coordination of sales events, such as product launches, trade shows, and conferences
  • Conduct market research and analyze market trends to identify potential new sales opportunities
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide relevant information
  • Assist in the management of customer accounts and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure that sales objectives are met

Job Requirements

  • Grade 12 or above
  • Previous experience in a sales or customer service role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Understanding of sales and marketing principles
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Comfortable working with data and analyzing information
