Position Title: Sales Support Officer

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and organised Sales Support Officer to join our Sales & Marketing Department in Port Moresby. This role plays a key part in supporting our sales operations, ensuring smooth coordination with clients, principals, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and process sales leads, and assist in the preparation of customer quotations.
• Coordinate client appointments and support communication by email, phone, and text.
• Request and maintain principal shipping rates, including applying for Spot Rate Requests in the system.
• Assist with marketing studies and compile reports, including Actual Liftings from Customer Service.
• Maintain updated client contact information and follow up on customer satisfaction.
• Manage customer issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Organise travel and accommodation for the sales team and coordinate monthly team meetings.
• Provide administrative support such as filing, preparing documents, and processing monthly expense claims.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in customer service, sales support, or a similar client-facing role.
• Strong understanding of shipping terms and procedures.
• Proven ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Experience working in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
