MTIS PNG Limited, a leading provider of specialized industrial products and engineering services, is seeking a driven and experienced Sales Team Leader to Lead growth across the mining and oil & gas sectors in Papua New Guinea

This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping sales strategy, managing key client relationships, and leading a high- performing sales team to deliver strong commercial results.

What You’ll Be Responsible For;

• Developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
• Leading and mentoring a small sales and marketing team.
• Building and maintaining relationships with major mining and gas clients.
• Identifying new business opportunities and expanding market presence.
• Overseeing quotations, proposals, and contract negotiations.
• Monitoring performance, analysing market trends, and reporting to senior management.
• Coordinating with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

What We’re Looking For;

• Bachelors’ degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
• 4-7+ years’ sales experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven success in achieving sales targets, ideally within mining, industrial, or oil and gas sectors.
• Strong knowledge of the PNG market (highly desirable).
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Strategic thinker with strong commercial and analytical ability.
• Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

• New client acquisition and pipeline development.
• Customer retention and satisfaction.
• Team performance and Profitability of accounts.
