Position
We’re seeking to recruit a results-driven professional for the position of Security Manager for our Business.
The Security Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing security strategies across our business. This role ensures the protection of people, assets, information, and reputation by managing physical, digital, and operational security risks. The manager will lead a team of security professionals, coordinate with senior leadership, and establish policies that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Staff Management & Scheduling
- Create and manage security guard rosters across all sites.
- Ensure full coverage at all times (no gaps).
- Monitor attendance, discipline, and performance.
- Handle replacements, shift issues, and absenteeism.
Site Security Operations
- Enforce standard operating Procedure (SOPs) across all locations.
- Conduct regular site inspections.
- Ensure guards are; positioned correctly.
- Ensure Alertness and professionalism.
- Following protocols.
Incident Management
- Respond to and manage;
- Theft, Disturbances, Safety Incidents.
- Report incidents clearly to management.
- Implement corrective actions to prevent repeat issues.
Systems & Equipment
- Oversee;
- CCTV systems
- Access control
- Alarm systems
- Ensure all systems are working and monitored effectively.
Training & Discipline
- Training Guards on;
- Site procedures
- Customer interaction
- Emergency response
- Maintain high discipline standards.
- Lead by example.
External Coordination
- Liaise with;
- Police (when required)
- External security providers
- Manage outsources guards if applicable.
Qualifications & Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Professional certifications such as CPP (Certified Protection Professional), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), or CISM (Certified Information Security Manager).
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in corporate or group-level security management.
- Proven track record in managing both physical and digital security programs.
- Strong knowledge of risk management, compliance frameworks, and crisis response.
- Experience working in multinational or multi-site organizations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make strategic decisions in high-stakes situations.
