We have a vacancy for a SENIOR ACCOUNTANT position in the Finance Division. The position is suited to a candidate who is seeking a stable long-term future with great career prospects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and/or prepare monthly general ledger reconciliations and resolving reconciling items and issues in a timely manner.

• Manage Accounts Payables and Receivables

• Maintain the Fixed Assets Register

• Prepare daily bank account reconciliations.

• Manage the month-end close.

• Assist the Financial Controller/Senior Accountant with financial period end reports

• Any other tasks assigned by the Senior Account/Financial Controller

Key Requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business management is required.

• Must be a CPA PNG qualified or working towards it.

• 3 - 5 years’ Finance/Accounting experience is preferred.

• Experience in Xero Accounting system or other accounting software packages is required.

• Construction Industry experience would be preferred but not necessary

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and IFRS
