SENIOR ANALYST – FINANCIAL INNOVATION & DATA UNIT, FINANCIAL SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT & INNOVATION POLICY DEPARTMENT
Reports To: Manager – Financial Innovation & Data Unit, FSDIPD
The primary role of the Senior Analyst, Financial Innovation & Data Unit, is to conduct in-depth research and analysis on financial sector trends, specifically related to innovation, digital financial services, and financial inclusion. The Senior Analyst will support the development of policy recommendations and contribute to the implementation of projects and initiatives aimed at fostering financial sector development. The Senior Analyst will be accountable to the Manager, Financial Innovation and Data Unit.
Education/Qualification/Experience/Skills/Competencies
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related fields. A master’s degree would be an advantage.
- Five plus years’ experience in the financial services industry or related field, with a focus on research, analysis, or project implementation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of financial sector concepts and principles.
- Familiarity with digital financial services, FinTech, and financial inclusion initiatives.
- Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with junior analysts or interns.
