Position Title: Senior Driver/Trainer

Location: Port Moresby, NCD

Department: Fuel Logistics

Reporting to: Operations Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY:

Operates assigned fuel tankers safely while providing on-the-job training and mentoring to new and existing drivers. Ensures high driving standards, compliance with EFM procedures, and supports the development of the driver team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Perform daily deliveries as per route plan and delivery schedule.

- Carry out complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

- Load and offload fuel safely according to standard operating procedures.

- Coach and mentor new drivers in safe driving and product handling techniques.

- Conduct refresher training and driver assessments periodically.

- Assist operations in monitoring driver compliance and reporting issues.

- Report any mechanical faults, safety concerns, or incidents immediately.

- Maintain accurate delivery and seal documentation.

- Promote safe driving culture and represent EFM professionalism on the road.

- Support investigations in case of on-road incidents.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

- Valid Heavy Vehicle License and extensive experience in fuel transport operations.

- Strong understanding of safety, fuel handling, and loading/unloading procedures.

- Good communication and mentoring skills for training drivers.

- Proven record of safe driving and adherence to company policies.

- Ability to complete documentation accurately and promptly.

- High level of professionalism, discipline, and reliability.
