- Position - Senior Finance Officer
Job Description
- Reporting directly to the Finance Manager on daily basis the incumbent will assist the finance manager in:
- General Ledger Reconciliation
- Monitoring data entry
- Bank Reconciliations
- Producing accurate Financial Report (monthly/Yearly)
- Monitoring payroll processes
- Liaisons with Lae & POM campuses in processing weekly data entry
- Meeting statutory compliance obligations in monthly GST/SWT/Nasfund
- Providing assistance wherever and whenever needed
- Assisting Finance Manager in dealing with external Auditors
Requirements:
- A diploma from a recognized tertiary institution or equivalent
- At least 5 years hands on experience
- A committed Christian
- Will be expected to uphold CLTC’s mission, values and vision
- IT literate and experience in at least one accounting (software) system
- Experience in Microsoft Office in both spreadsheet (Excel) and Word at Intermediate levels
- Previous experience working with a mission (Christian) organization or a learning institution will be an added advantage
