The Role:
Our client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Management Accountant to join their dynamic and fast-growing team. This full-time position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and is instrumental in delivering financial excellence while supporting key strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and present financial insights to support strategic decision-making, annual budgeting, and monthly forecasts.
- Provide actionable recommendations to enhance efficiency, optimize resource allocation, and create sustainable value.
- Lead the monthly management accounting process, including cost audits, post-audit reporting, and profitability analysis.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, accounting standards, and corporate governance requirements.
- Collaborate with operational teams to align financial strategies with organizational goals and drive business process improvements.
- Oversee risk management and internal controls to safeguard the organization’s assets.
- Manage and improve ERP systems and financial reporting tools for enhanced data visualization and automation.
- Support new projects, evaluating financial viability and potential risks, while contributing to mergers, acquisitions, and investment opportunities.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the board, executive leadership, and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and professional qualifications (CA, CPA, CIMA).
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, data analytics, visualization, ERP systems, and relevant accounting standards.
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring teams and working cross-functionally.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to perform under pressure while meeting deadlines.
