We are partnering with a leading national airline in Papua New Guinea that provides domestic and international passenger and cargo services across the region. The airline plays a vital role in connecting communities across Papua New Guinea and key destinations throughout Asia, Australia, and the Pacific.

The Role

Join the team in Port Moresby as the Senior Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis. Reporting to the CFO, you will lead financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting. The role evaluates the financial performance of routes, fleet, operations, and business units, while ensuring the accuracy, integrity and timely delivery of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of annual budgets (OPEX and CAPEX) and rolling forecasts.
• Deliver management reporting, board packs, dashboards, and variance analysis.
• Monitor and report Fleet Economics: Aircraft utilisation, cost per block hour, cost per available seat kilometre (CASK), revenue per available seat kilometre (RASK) etc.
• Develop financial models, scenario analysis, and business cases.
• Partner with Commercial, Operations, Engineering, and other business leaders to improve performance.
• Ensure financial data integrity, reporting accuracy, and strong financial controls.
• Drive reporting automation and continuous improvement using Oracle Fusion and EPM.

Key Criteria

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• CA or CPA qualification essential.
• 7+ years' FP&A experience within the aviation industry.
• Strong financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting expertise.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP and advanced Excel.
• Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
