The Company

We are partnering with a leading national airline in Papua New Guinea provides domestic and international passenger and cargo services across the region. It plays a critical role in connecting major cities and remote communities, as well as linking the country to key international destinations in Asia, Australia, and the Pacific.



The Role

Join the team in Port Moresby as the Senior Manager – Accounts Payable and take ownership of AP operations, including invoice processing, reconciliations, reporting, and payment cycles, ensuring accurate supplier payments, strong financial controls, and improved efficiency.

Working across Finance, Procurement, Treasury, and Operations, the role strengthens financial governance, supports payment processes, and drives automation and continuous improvement within Accounts Payable.



Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Accounts Payable operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of supplier payments.
• Oversee AP controls, reconciliations, compliance, and month-end close activities.
• Manage supplier onboarding, invoice processing, payment cycles, and stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure the integrity of AP data and processes within Oracle Fusion ERP.
• Drive AP automation, process improvements, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Provide reporting, cash flow insights, and support audit and governance requirements.

Key Criteria

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
• CPA, CA, or ACCA preferred
• 8 - 10+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable or finance shared services leadership
• Strong experience with Oracle Fusion ERP or similar systems in high-volume environments
• Proven leadership of Accounts Payable teams with strong knowledge of controls, reconciliations, and payment processes
