  • Committed to innovation & strengthening cybersecurity.
  • Recognised for robust risk management & forward-looking technology adoption

A major financial institution is seeking a hands-on Senior Manager – Information Security Operations to lead and mature its cybersecurity capability. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of security operations at a critical time, optimising existing tools, uplifting practices, and strengthening resilience across global and multi-cloud environments.

The Role

Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer, you will:
  • Lead and optimise the Security Operations Centre, enhancing SIEM, SOAR, XDR/EDR, and monitoring tools to stay ahead of evolving threats.
  • Oversee incident planning, penetration testing, and red team exercises to strengthen response readiness.
  • Drive Identity & Access Governance (IAG) programs, Privileged Access Management (PAM), and RBAC audits.
  • Modernise and improve security operations, ensuring that existing tools and processes evolve in line with the organisation’s technology stack.
  • Design and implement multi-cloud security strategies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and embed DevSecOps practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to deliver next-generation security solutions, including zero-trust architectures, DLP, CASB, and NDR.
  • Ensure compliance with global standards and regulatory frameworks, while balancing internal and external security pressures.
About You
  • Degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 10–12 years in cybersecurity, with 2–4 years leading teams (SOC leadership strongly preferred).
  • Hands-on technical expertise with SIEM, endpoint protection, identity management, penetration testing, and cloud security.
  • Strong experience in optimising existing security tools and uplifting operational maturity.
  • Proven ability to stabilise and strengthen security operations in dynamic, high-pressure environments.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or cloud security credentials are highly regarded.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to influence across diverse stakeholders.
This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role at the forefront of cybersecurity. If you thrive on driving maturity, optimising operations, and keeping pace with global and internal security challenges, this opportunity offers the chance to make a lasting impact.
