About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the Senior Manager IT Applications will provide strategic and operational leadership across the organisation's application environment. The role will oversee core banking, digital channels, switching, integrations and application services while driving transformation, resilience and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the enterprise IT applications strategy
  • Lead application development, support and lifecycle management
  • Drive digital transformation, automation and emerging technology adoption
  • Oversee core banking, digital channels, switching and API integrations
  • Establish application performance, service and operational standards
  • Manage technology risk, compliance, security and PCI-DSS requirements
  • Lead vendor relationships, budgets, DR, HA and BCP readiness
Key Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or related discipline
  • 8+ years' IT applications experience, including 3+ years in leadership
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of core banking platforms
  • Experience with card, transaction processing and lifecycle systems
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, Oracle, MongoDB and data management
  • Experience with API gateways, integrations, ISO 8583 and ISO 20022
  • Strong leadership, project management and stakeholder capabilities
