About the Role

Reporting to the Head of IT, the Senior Manager, Network Infrastructure will oversee the bank’s network architecture, security, performance and resilience.

This hands-on leadership role requires someone who can independently design and implement network solutions, lead complex infrastructure projects and provide technical direction to engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Own network architecture, solution design and technical standards across LAN, WAN and digital banking infrastructure.
• Design and implement network solutions and lead projects from planning through deployment and testing.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and work alongside engineers to resolve complex issues.
• Mentor local engineers and strengthen internal technical capability through knowledge transfer.
• Lead NOC operations, network monitoring, incident management and service availability.
• Implement network security controls, including firewalls, DDoS mitigation and security monitoring.
• Manage network capacity, redundancy, disaster recovery, business continuity and failover testing.
• Ensure reliable performance across digital banking channels and ATM/POS payment networks.
• Lead infrastructure improvements and manage technology vendors, telecommunications providers, service-level agreements and budgets.
• Maintain network documentation, regulatory compliance and operational reporting, while leading the network engineering and operations team, including 24/7 coverage.

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications or a related discipline.
• 8–10+ years in network engineering, including 3–5 years in senior technical leadership with direct infrastructure ownership.
• Strong, current hands-on Cisco and Fortinet expertise across network design, routing, switching, firewalls and troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to independently design and implement complex network solutions and lead projects from design through deployment.
• Ability to provide technical direction, mentor engineers and develop local technical capability.
• Experience managing secure, highly available infrastructure in 24/7 environments, including network security, DDoS mitigation, SIEM and disaster recovery.
• Banking, financial services or payment systems experience, with knowledge of Central Bank requirements, PCI-DSS and ISO 27001.
• Strong technical leadership, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, ITIL, CISSP or CISM are highly regarded. A Master’s degree is advantageous.
