Senior Mechanic/Technician

ZENAG CHICKEN is seeking to hire an experienced and qualified Senior Mechanic/Technician that will be based in Lae. This is a challenging senior role in the company and is an exciting opportunity to join a successful Agribusiness company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Repair and Maintenance of different types of Highway fleet.
• Ensuring that all jobs are recorded and tested before releasing of any Fleets.
• Trouble shooting of Hydraulic Systems & control valves.
• Troubleshooting of Cummins engine.
• Adjusting & diagnosing Governor Control.
• Interpreting & operating control Panel.
• Ensuring that all jobs are done on time with quality result.
• Ensuring PMS is done as per manufacturer standard and on time.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Must possess a Trade Certificate in Heavy Duty Mechanic, Deg Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Well experienced on Isuzu Trucks, Kenworth Trucks, Cummins engine, Komatsu Equipment,
• Can Overhaul engines (Cummins, Isuzu, Toyota)
• At least 5 years’ experience as a Senior Mechanic/Technician
• Must know how to overhaul Gear box, Transmission 18 speed and differential.
• Must have background on Low Voltage Electrical, capable to identify the faults.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Strong leadership capabilities
• Excellent reporting skills
• Flexible with working hours
