Southern Cross Pumps Ltd has vacancies for below positions;
SENIOR PROCUREMENT OFFICER
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for international buying.
- Sourcing and negotiating processes and coordinates orders and takes care of all documentation.
- To administer and maintain product information, supplier information on the purchasing, ordering and payment system.
- To monitor and review policy and procedures in relation to all purchasing matters.
- To carry out investigations into sources of supply, deal with the preparation of correspondence and reports as required, despatch specifications for the purchase of goods and services.
- Liaise with customs agent on clearance on import / export matters. Attend to queries resulting from customs inspections.
- Keep and update suppliers price lists where applicable.
Requirements and skills
- Minimum Grade 12 and 5 Years work experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency with computers and High-level MYOB skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Proven communication and organizational skills.
- Hold a valid driver’s licence
