To keep up with our growing demand, we are seeking an experienced, self-motivated Senior Pump Technician to join our team.

The Role

As a Senior Pump Technician, you will be the go-to expert for all things related to fluid dynamics and pump systems. You will be responsible for the end-to-end care of both domestic and commercial pumps, ensuring minimal downtime for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fault Finding & Diagnostics: Efficiently troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues in various pump systems.

• Service & Maintenance: Conduct routine, preventative, and corrective servicing on domestic pressure pumps, commercial booster systems, submersible pumps, and sewerage pumps.

• Repairs & Overhauls: Perform high-quality repairs, component replacements, and system rebuilds both on-site and in the workshop.

• Independent Management: Manage your daily schedule, source parts efficiently, and complete job reports with minimal supervision.

What We Are Looking For

This is a senior role that requires a high level of expertise and autonomy. To be successful, you must meet the following criteria:

• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience specifically servicing, fault finding, and repairing domestic and commercial pumps.

• Residency: You must currently reside in Port Moresby (interstate or overseas applicants who are not already based here will not be considered).

• Work Ethic: Strong self-drive with a proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems on the fly.

• Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of control panels, float switches, pressure vessels, and mechanical seals.

• Communication: Good communication skills and a professional demeanor when dealing with commercial and residential clients.

• License: A valid driver’s license is highly desirable.
