CreditBank PNG Limited seeks an experienced person to fill in the role of Senior Relationship Officer_based in Kokopo, East New Britian Province.

The Senior Relationship Officer is responsible for supporting frontline sales in their allocated jurisdiction from managing end-to-end lending process covering sales Originations, applications through to drawdown& ongoing account/portfolio management, including arrears follow-up and annual reviews.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare and compile new loan applications.
• Write/Create loan contracts.
• Contribute to the compilation of lending proposals and ensure all aspects meet the company’s high credit quality standards for assessment by the Credit and Risk teams.
• Credit writing and submissions.
• Pipeline management.
• Call reports.
• Keep clients informed on CCF loan policies and regulations in place.
• Support where needed face-to-face interviews and take telephone enquiries with current and prospective clients regarding CCF loan products.
• Contribute to the development of unique value propositions, products and services for target customer segments.
• Assisting customers with loan requirements.
• Active saes and support to wider Bank Team.
• Proactive customer calls and building on relationships.
• Onboarding and cross sales with respective internal business stakeholders.
• Upload all securities under CF on the Personal Property Securities Register.
• Support relations with relevant stakeholders (major dealers, panel insurance companies and brokers for insurance premium funding and for insurance covers).
• Adhere to all Financial Prudential Standards and governance, risk and compliance policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all internal frameworks, policies and procedures.
• Support for arrears management and collections.
• Documentation checking and issuance to customers.
• Compliance with all conditions for loan drawdowns.

Other duties

• Other duties as required by the Senior Relationship Manager
• The duty statement may be amended from time to time to reflect the changing requirements of the position.

Experience

• Working knowledge on financial analysis, loan analysis, underwriting.
• 2+ years or more experience in a financial institution or 2+ years’ experience in credit/loan assessment or loans officer role.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) / interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications, database, accounting software.
