SENIOR SECRETARY – CURRENCY DEPARTMENT

Reports To: Manager – Currency Department (Pom).

The primary role of the Senior Secretary, Currency Department, is to effectively and efficiently provides high-level administrative, secretarial, and coordination support to the Manager and senior officers of the Currency Department. The incumbent ensures effective daily operations through efficient document management, communication handling, scheduling, and liaison with internal and external stakeholders. The position is critical to maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism within the department. The Senior Secretary is accountable to the Manager, Currency Department.

Education/Qualifications/Experiences/Skills/Competencies

  • Diploma in Office Administration, Business Studies, Secretarial studies or related field from a recognized institution.
  • Additional training in communication, office management or computing is an advantage.
  • Five plus years’ experience in senior secretarial or administrative roles.
  • Proven experience in providing support to senior managers or executives.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong planning, coordination and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Suits (MS Excel, MS Word)
  • High level of confidentiality, tact and discretion.
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to service excellence.
