PNG Motors is one of Papua New Guinea’s leading automotive groups, representing trusted brands including Ford, Mazda, Hyundai, Suzuki, JMC and Joylong. Our service departments are busy, practical environments where good organisation, clear communication, and real experience matter.

We are looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join our service team in Port Moresby and support the daily operation of our workshop.

This is not an entry-level role. If your experience with vehicle servicing is limited to owning a car, this position probably isn’t for you.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be the main point of contact between customers and the workshop. That means booking vehicles in for service, preparing job cards, explaining service requirements to customers, and coordinating with technicians to ensure work is carried out efficiently and accurately.

You’ll provide updates to customers on repair progress, assist with service quotations, manage service documentation, and ensure all service records and invoices are prepared correctly. Some days will be straightforward. Other days will involve multiple customers, urgent repairs, and competing priorities.

Clear communication and strong organisation are essential.

Who This Suits
This role suits someone who already understands how a service department works. You should have experience in an automotive service advisor role or a similar workshop coordination position.

You’re comfortable dealing with customers, technicians, and parts departments at the same time. You understand service processes, vehicle repairs, and the importance of accurate documentation.

Strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential.
