PNG Motors is a market leader in automotive and mobility services across Papua New Guinea. Our service departments are busy, practical environments where accuracy, follow-through, and communication matter just as much as technical skill.

We’re looking for a Service Clerk to support our service operations and keep the front end of the workshop running smoothly.

This is not a “sit quietly and file things” role. If you don’t like phones ringing, customers asking questions, or juggling multiple tasks at once, this probably isn’t for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be the link between customers, service advisors, technicians, and administration. That means booking vehicles in and out, preparing and updating job cards, managing service paperwork, assisting with invoicing, and making sure information is accurate and up to date.

You’ll deal with customers face-to-face and over the phone, answer service enquiries, and help keep daily workflow organised. Things won’t always run perfectly to schedule, so staying calm, clear, and organised is part of the job.

Who This Suits

This role suits someone who is naturally organised, reliable, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment. Experience in an automotive service department or a similar administrative role is highly regarded, but attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn are just as important.

You’re confident using computers, comfortable dealing with people, and understand that small details matter when vehicles, invoices, and customer trust are involved.
