Position: Shipping Clerk

We are looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Shipping Clerk to support our growing import operations. The role is responsible for coordinating all inbound shipments, handling customs documentation, and ensuring goods are delivered to the warehouse on time and in good order.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and follow up all incoming shipments
• Prepare and manage import documents (invoices, packing lists, B/L, AWB)
• Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and transport providers
• Regularly review pricing from providers to ensure cost efficient shipping is achieved
• Maintain records and pricing information on all shipments
• Coordinate delivery and receiving with the warehouse team
• Maintain accurate records of all import files and shipment logs

Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate (tertiary training an advantage)
• Experience in import logistics, shipping, or customs processes preferred
• Good communication and basic computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
