SHOWROOM RETAIL MANAGER

MAIN DUTIES:

  1. Responsible for all functions of the showroom section and staff.
  2. Achieve budget in accordance with figures and defined by the Senior Management.
  3. Monitor and controls incoming and outgoing stocks in the showroom.
  4. Ensure that all outgoing stocks are documented.
  5. Maintain good customer service.
  6. Continually train staff to higher skill levels.
  7. Ensure proper packing, arrangement, and security of stocks.
  8. Checks and reports for any discrepancies in showroom stocks.
  9. Prepare monthly reports as directed by the management.
  10. Conduct of regular showroom stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy.
  11. Check and approve stock requests.
  12. Check and review completed job cards to ensure items to be invoiced.
  13. Verify inventory codes on Winward System and liaise with accounts if needing further verification.

QUALIFICATIONS & WORK EXPERIENCE:

  1. At least 3 years work experience in the related industry.
  2. University Degree in Business Management or Marketing or equivalent.
  3. With proven strong background in Personal Management and the ability to adapt and apply knowledge skills.
  4. Proven ability to provide good customer care.
  5. Willingness to pass on skills and train staff.

  1. Must present high quality and work output commensurate with the company’s image and policies.
  2. Must present an attitude of caring and understanding, qualities that are highly south after by clients.
  3. Should be able to organize and motivate a group of individuals to achieve excellence.
  4. Must be of high personal integrity.

  1. 20-40 years old

  3. Be of good health

Company Description: Able started in Perth Western Australia in 1982 by Rick Kyle and Nick Taylor and moved to Papua New Guinea in 1984. In 1985, Able Computing (PNG) was incorporated by Geoff Lazberger with Rick/Nick and several others became individual shareholders in the company. Geoff Lazberger ran the company as CEO until 1989 when he left to return to Australia. The initial list of clients around the country used either accounting software CBA or Arrow. The company was awarded national distributorship for both CBA and Arrow and I had also built up a dealership with companies having large clients bases who’d be a target for our software (Deloitte, Coopers & Lybrand, Daltron, etc,)
