Site Logistics Controller

Trukai Industries Limited has a vacancy for a Site Logistics Controller in our Supply Chain Department based in Lae, Morobe Province. This position will report directly to the Site Logistics Coordinator.

The Site Logistics Controller is responsible to administer and maintain a safe organised yard operation and ensure strict compliance to traffic plans and safety policies. The incumbent is also expected to control the movement of all vehicles entering the yard including the movement of material handling equipment and people within the site. They are authorised to stop work for any unsafe acts or Safety Health Environment breaches.

Key Requirements

• Tertiary Qualifications in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain
• 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience in warehousing, material management
• Exposure to FMCG Industry
• Exposure to shipping, logistics and container control
• Ability to priorities, organize workload independently and work unsupervised
• Familiar with Workplace Safety and Environmental factors
• Attention to detail
• Highly organized with problem solving skills
• Computer literate
