We currently have an immediate vacancy for a Spare Parts Stores Supervisor to join our
already strong and vibrant Warehouse Stores team in Lae. Reporting to the Warehouse
Manager, this role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a spare parts
warehouse, ensuring the parts are accurately recorded, safely stored, and issued efficiently to
support maintenance and operational activities. The role is responsible for leading the spare
parts store team and ensuring inventory is managed effectively to minimize downtime. The role
requires strong leadership, inventory management skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of
spare parts.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Supervise the receipt, storage, and issuing of spare parts.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure system data matches physical stock.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and annual stock takes.
• Identify slow-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory and recommend appropriate
actions.
• Ensure spare parts are stored correctly. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe
environment.
• Allocate daily tasks and monitor team performance.
• Maintain accurate master data for spare parts.
• Work closely with maintenance and operations teams to ensure critical spare parts are
available.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures.

To be considered for the role, you will need to have:
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, and/or Engineering field.
• Must have experience in spare parts management.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office (Excel, power point, word).
