STOREMAN
(Not “I stacked a few shelves” experienced)

PNG Motors is looking for a reliable and hardworking Storeman to support the daily operations of our parts and warehouse team.

This role is not just about moving stock around and hoping for the best. We are looking for someone who understands organisation, urgency, accuracy, and the importance of keeping parts flowing properly through a busy operation. If you struggle with attention to detail, paperwork, systems, or following process, this role will become difficult very quickly.

The Opportunity
PNG Motors supports some of the world’s leading automotive brands including Ford, Mazda, Hyundai, Suzuki, JMC, and Joylong, and our parts operations play a critical role in keeping workshops and customers moving across Papua New Guinea.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for receiving, checking, storing, picking, and dispatching automotive parts and inventory. You’ll assist with stock control, warehouse organisation, order preparation, inventory movement, and ensuring parts are accurately recorded and stored correctly.

You’ll work closely with the warehouse, purchasing, logistics, and parts teams to ensure customer and workshop orders are processed efficiently and accurately. This is a busy operational role where mistakes can create delays across the business, so organisation and attention to detail are essential.

You’ll also assist with stock takes, inventory checks, maintaining clean storage areas, and ensuring warehouse safety procedures are followed at all times.

You’ll succeed here if you are someone who pays attention to detail, follows systems properly, and understands the importance of accuracy in warehouse and inventory operations.

You should be comfortable handling automotive parts, processing paperwork, updating stock records, and working as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Good communication skills, time management, and a strong work ethic are essential.

Basic computer knowledge and experience working with inventory systems or warehouse operations will be highly regarded.

Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should have a minimum Grade 12 education. Previous experience in warehouse, inventory, logistics, or automotive parts environments will be highly regarded.

Experience using Microsoft Office, inventory systems, or ERP systems will also be viewed favourably.
