About the role

Responsible for providing mechanical maintenance tasks to achieve consistently high standards of safety, availability, and reliability to our mobile maintenance team in the ancillary fleet services section.

Key / Major Accountabilities

Key accountabilities of this position include.

• Supervision and Safety of maintenance personnel in the workshop.
• Supervise all maintenance personnel in the workshop, including recruitment and termination of personnel.
• Liaises closely with Production Superintendent in respect of equipment servicing and preventive maintenance scheduling and required equipment availability.
• Supervise and control any sub-contractor activity at the workshop.

About You

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you must be educated to Grade 10 or 12 and must have NATTB certified trade certificate Heavy Diesel Equipment Fitting. You must have minimum of five (5) post-tradesman experience with three (3) years of supervisory experience. In addition to this, you will have some or all the following.

• Minimum of 5 years' work experience on Earth Moving Machinery or similar.
• Sandvik Equipment Knowledge for Drills/Load Haul Equipment experience.
• Mining and Construction surface and underground equipment experience.
• Good Command of the English Language.
• CAT Equipment Knowledge
