Supervisor, Engineering Maintenance

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Supervisor, Engineering Maintenance to provide mechanical engineering support for fixed plant operations. You will drive reliability improvements, support maintenance strategies and deliver engineering solutions that improve safety, asset performance and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Provide mechanical engineering support to production and maintenance teams.

Drive reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.

Undertake mechanical design activities from concept through execution.

Deliver maintenance improvement and OPEX projects within budget and schedule.

Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigations.

Support asset criticality assessments and reliability strategies.

Champion Management of Change (MOC) processes.

Mentor tradespeople, planners and junior engineers.

Collaborate with operations, maintenance, projects and external stakeholders.

About You

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in mining or a related heavy industry.

Experience in asset management, project delivery or reliability engineering.

Knowledge of crushers, conveyors, grinding mills, flotation systems, tanks and tailings infrastructure.

Experience using CMMS systems, preferably SAP.

Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capability.
