Position Overview:

We are currently seeking applications from qualified individuals to join our team as a Supply Chain/Procurement Executive in Port Moresby. This role is pivotal in enhancing our supply chain strategy and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the company’s supply chain strategy.
• Collaborate with internal departments to identify and fulfill procurement needs.
• Manage supply chain inventory and records, providing regular reports to management.
• Identify cost-effective solutions to optimize supply chain processes.
• Establish and implement best cost accounting practices with robust controls.
• Develop and enforce safety guidelines across all supply chain activities.
• Ensure compliance of supply chain processes with legal requirements and industry standards.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Business with a Logistics and Supply Chain Major, Diploma in Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proficient in MS Office and possess strong computer literacy.
• 5 to 6 years of experience in overseas purchasing, supply chain, logistics, and shipping processes.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Creative problem-solving skills and a strategic, analytical mindset.
• Valid driver’s license.
• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in FMCG is preferred.
