Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Swing Lift Operator to manage the loading, unloading, and transportation of containers and heavy materials using swing lift equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience operating side-loading machinery and a strong understanding of workplace safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate swing lift machinery to safely load and unload containers from trucks and storage areas.
• Transport heavy and oversized loads within the yard or designated areas.
• Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of swing lift equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and report any hazards or equipment malfunctions.
• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure efficient material handling.
• Maintain accurate records of container movements and inventory updates.
• Assist in organizing the yard to optimize space and workflow.

Qualifications:

• High school certificate or equivalent.
• Valid forklift or heavy equipment operator certification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating swing lift or similar machinery.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and load handling procedures.
• Ability to work in outdoor environments and under varying weather conditions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in container handling or logistics operations.
• Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Familiarity with yard management systems or inventory software.

Working Conditions:

• Outdoor work in a yard or port environment.
• May require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
