TANK BUILDERS

Duties and Responsibilities

• Metal Fabrication and Welding
• Mechanical tank installation and repair of tank
• Ensure required tank parts are present, properly fitted, aligned and screwed in
• Writing up reports as required
• Apply safety principles/practices at work or onsite

Essential Competencies

• Physically fit.
• Able to work during weekends or on site out of town.Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Knowledge in rigging and assembly (Jacks, hoists, scaffold, cranes etc…)
• Understanding of Industrial Safety Standards
• Hold a valid Class 6 driver’s licence.
