TEACHING POSITIONS AVAILABLE – STARTING JANUARY 2026

Hargy International School (HIS) is a company-supported school offering education from Preschool to Grade 12. Located within the Hargy Oil Palms Limited community in Bialla, West New Britain Province, HIS provides high-quality learning that promotes academic excellence, creativity, and global awareness.

VACANCIES

Two Secondary Teachers (Grades 7–12)
• STEAM & ICT
• Humanities & Social Sciences (History & Economics)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school and ACT curricula.
    • Promote critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving.
    • Use varied instructional methods and technology for diverse learning needs.
    • Monitor, assess, and report student progress.
    • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to school initiatives.
    • Support extra- and co-curricular activities.

    STEAM & ICT: Integrate digital tools, encourage innovation, and maintain STEAM/ICT resources.
    HASS (History & Economics): Develop students’ analytical, research, and communication skills; teach global and local contexts; prepare for internal and external assessments.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Essential:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject plus recognised teaching qualification.
• Minimum 3 years’ secondary teaching experience (Years 7–12).
• Fully TSC/IEA registered teacher.
• Proven classroom management and English communication skills.
• Commitment to student wellbeing and academic excellence.

Desirable:
• Experience with ACARA/International Curriculum.
• Familiarity with ACT Curriculum (to be introduced 2026).
• Experience with ICT integration, blended learning, and curriculum design.
• Teaching couples encouraged to apply.
